Summary in plain English

We do not have tracking in the app. Not from Google, not from Facebook, not from Twitter, not from us. The app can be used entirely offline, except for purchasing and validating the subscription you purchase, and iCloud backup on iOS (if you choose to enable it). If you give us your email to contact you, we store it securely and never sell it. We do not have any personal information of yours otherwise. We use anonymous analytics to improve our services.

Introduction

We appreciate your trust in us, and would like to inform you of our privacy practices. By using our services, you accept this privacy policy.

Ads

We do not have ads in the app.

What we store

We store everything on your phone, or your personal iCloud Drive if you enabled it in iOS, that only you have access to, except anonymous analytics. If you do give us your email when contacting support/sign up for product updates, we store that securely and never share it with anyone else. Your email is used for that purpose only.

Anonymous analytics

Our analytics is anonymous, meaning we do not know who you are at all. An example of this is how long does a feature's processing take, so we can measure the performance of our app.

How is your data secured

If it is stored on your phone, your phone operating system secures it automatically. Additionally, you can enable biometric in the app (e.g. Face ID, Fingerprint) so when you open the app, you will need to unlock it with your own biometric information. If it is stored off your phone, we use HTTPS protocol & various other methods to ensure its security. If you enabled iCloud Drive, backup copies of your data will be stored in iCloud Drive, not only is it secured by Apple's system, it is encrypted using AES-256 algorithm.

AES-256 algorithm

It is an industry standard encryption algorithm. In plain English: It could be on a document in an Oval Office vault with the warning “EXTREMELY TOP SECRET.” Who knows? Maybe it’s tattooed on the president’s—never mind. From https://www.progress.com/blogs/use-aes-256-encryption-secure-data

How data is used

We use the data your provide to provide services and to improve our services. We do not have your personal information unless you give us your email, so there is nothing for us to sell or share in the first place. If you do give us your email, we will only use it for our services, and we never sell it or share to anyone else.

Rights you have
